So I don't think there'll be that many submissions from now until next summer
Okay, so the last WIP was actually #3, not #2 (yeah...go me ==;; So I worked my butt off and I did manage to get a decent render to hand in for my AP art "experimentational" summer work. My art teacher soooooooo doesn't understand how 3d modeling works LOL! Luckily she hired a sculpture teacher THAT KNOWS MAYA! OMFG! She said she'd teach me the basics after I get all my college portfolio stuff done. The new teacher wasn't too impressed with this model (i handed in the wireframe, AO, and normal version of the model) but I'm not really out to impress anyone either way and she's teaching me MAYAAAAAA so she can think whatever she wants about my models XDDDDDDDD ANYWAYS, My friend from Hong Kong kept telling me that it should have its paw on a ball so after a while I gave in and posed it like that. I added more onto the little podium and it took forever LOL! i wish I had an uber nice rendering computerrrrrrrr >_<!!!!!! I'm not sure exactly how I'm going to do the texturing for the final version. I mean the stone looks O.K. but I'm not totally happy with it... |
